2005 - 2006

Well well well…. A new year has arrived with so much fury and force I feel that I need another holiday. Last year whipped by so fast that I didn’t stop to take in all the beauty and wonder that it held… But oh well maybe this year.

I have to say that my new years was most probably the best I have ever had, I went to the Rhythm and Vines festival, as anyone who went would tell you it was unbelievably good. The line up was unstoppable with the best mix of New Zealand music on display, with stand out performances by Fat Freddy’s, Black Seeds, Baitercell & Timmy Schumacher and the dub. Our new years consisted of a 3 day build up, parting, sunning and making fools of our selves at the Baywatch camps situated in Gisborne (right on the beach… perfect.) we had a crew of about 20 which always makes it good times…. After new years we went wakeboarding but the weather wasn’t playing along, the days were sunny but with high winds causing white caps on the lake, it makes it hard to get out for a board… faced with these types of conditions it leaves only one responsible thing to do, go down and relax in the hot water (fresh water springs which runs into the lake) and have a few quiet beers.

Hope all is well, and yay I got some comments and yes Michelle I do have a blog (its amazing considering I’m grammaticality, impaired. I feel sorry for you people reading this). Will try and keep it updated… also a quick note… Am hoping to have an interactive installation using motion capture up before the end of feb…… but will keep you posted
